- 12pm-4pm MLK Friends hosted the "Unity playdate", attended by an estimated 100 people from schools all over Cambridge, and we raised more than $150 for the Cambridge Backpack program! Also, Cambridge School committee members Fred Fantini and Emily Dexter stopped by to say hello.

- Audition on May 15 in Ms. Carpenter's room for the talent show, and then come on June 2 to see our talented students! MLK Friends will sell refreshments to rise funds for scholarships for MLKing students to attend summer camps.
- We welcome parents to come volunteer to run field day events. I have volunteered at this event and it is very fun! The students have a great time with the sack race, the parachute activity and the favorite water balloon toss. Email Christina at mlkfriendsgroup[at] gmail [dot] com if you can volunteer, and thanks!
