Please give to the MLK Friends Annual Appeal We are still accepting donations for our Annual Appeal is our largest fundraiser, and we can guarantee that your child - and every child in the school - will benefit from the funds raised for field trips, special events and projects like the school t-shirts, SplashMath app, cultural events like MLK Day and the Chinese New Year Celebration. We are an all-volunteer organization so 100% of your donation goes to our school (PayPal charges a small fee for collecting online donations). We encourage all families to donate the amount they feel comfortable donating. MLK Friends helps our school celebrate Chinese New Year Our school's Chinese teachers and students presented a concert on Friday 2/10/17, and will present a repeat performance for those families that missed the first- see email from Principal Yung for details on that. MLK Friends helps our school celebrate Chinese New Year by providing funding (and delivery) for a special teachers lunch of dumplings, organizing volunteers to hang decorations around the school, designing the program for the event and by funding the lion dance- a favorite event for the students.
