Welcome back!

The Friends of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School wishes everyone a wonderful and safe start to the new year.

We are working on these projects to support our school:

• funding coffees with the principal so new families can meet each other
• helping recruit candidates for the School Council
• welcoming new candidates for MLK Friends
• assisting with finding volunteers to be room parents and volunteer in other ways at the school
• working with the Principal and Family liaison to set a schedule of events so people can plan ahead
• preparing for the fall Book Fair

We welcome you to join us at our first meeting on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 8-9am in the school conference room.
